Kwan Thai’s food isn’t going to set the world alight, despite the chilli quotient, but it has its own fan base nonetheless. Some of this loyalty is due no doubt to great views over the Thames & the HMS Belfast that create a sense of occasion. Others cite the option of sitting outside, weather permitting. Whatever, the menu of Thai staples is competent, including a melt-in-the-mouth massaman curry & a moreish mushroom satay, plus stir-fries, salads & curries. The vegetarian menu is a bit more adventurous than the main menu.
