Kulu Kulu Sushi

The kaiten takes centre-stage at this tiny Brewer Street sushi joint, & so it should as Kulu Kulu was one of the first sushi conveyor belts in London. Don’t expect plush furnishings – the decor is spartan to the point of anonymity – but the atmosphere is lively during the lunchtime rush, & the food is not only excellent value, it’s also supremely fresh & tasty. Expect all the usual favourites: plump pieces of salmon sashimi, spicy tuna maki, eel hand rolls, tempura veg & agedashi tofu.
