By day, the big windows ensure this Jamies is flooded with natural light while, at night the granite topped bar, muted colour scheme & leather stools create a smart atmosphere for a post-work drink. The Jamies wine list is clearly set out by grape variety & offers masses of choice by the small or large glass, such as a 2005 Australian Preece Merlot or perhaps a 2005 Ovacion Verdejo/Viura from Spain at £4.50 for a small glass or £6.50 for a large glass. To soak it all up there are sandwiches & platters but also more substantial meals: a steak & Stilton salad or a veggie-friendly mushroom pie with pesto potatoes.
