Itsu was around at the start of the capital’s love affair with kaiten sushi, & this classy chain continues to grow apace with burgeoning takeaway joints – although the South Kensington outpost thrives as a proper restaurant. Head for the funky upstairs bar & sip a cocktail while you wait for a pew at the ground-floor conveyor belt to come free. There’s little in the way of innovation on those colour-coded plates, yet quality is always high. If you’re thirsty, ask the attentive staff for something from the range of sakés, wines, teas & soft drinks. Itsu isn’t a place to linger, but as a speedy drop-in, it hits the spot nicely.
Travel to Itsu in style with London's leading minicab firm Addison Lee.
