From a resolutely traditional menu, it’s worth exploring chef’s specials such as pork belly with garlic & soya bean paste or tuna sashimi with grated yam, all delivered by attentive, kimono-clad staff. At lunchtime, locals make the most of great-value set lunches from £15, though prices stiffen up in the evening, when diners travel from further afield & there’s a £50 minimum spend per person for group bookings.
