Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen

The Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen was one of the first places to transform Hoxton Square from a wino’s park to an epicentre of cool. The uber-trendy artists that once came here may have moved on, but the place is still a hangout for aspiring Hoxton media types who fill the cavernous, concrete bunker-style surrounds groovily tricked out with industrial details & leather furniture. On a well-honed drinks list there’s a basic selection of wines, a decent line-up of bottled beers including Liberty Ale & St Peter’s Organic Ale & a focused list of classic cocktails. Food in the next-door dining room has an 80s American feel: ribs, burgers, Texas chilli, choc fudge cake.
