Relentlessly cheerful & friendly, this commuter’s favourite is a great place to be near but feel far from Blackfriars station. It’s tucked away down a narrow side street with space under some shady trees for alfresco dining on warm days. The pizzas are extremely tasty & great value for money, with the option of a wholemeal base if you’re feeling pious. Football fan or not, try the Juventus, topped with artichokes & pepperoni. Beyond pizza, there are straightforward pastas & daily specials. Staff are accommodating even when the restaurant is buzzing.
