Square Meal review of Grenadier:
A piece of London history, The Grenadier dates back to 1763 & was originally built to serve as a mess for the guards of the Grenadier (the pub is said to be haunted by the ghost of a guardsman). It certainly looks its age, but its interesting background & gorgeous setting down a private Belgravia mews make it a popular spot on the tourist trail. There’s a great selection of cask ales & the food – fish finger sandwiches in the bar & beef Wellington in the restaurant – is not bad either.
