Oodles of atmosphere come courtesy of the main bar’s superb Tudorbethan decor, while the dining room annexe has a school classroom simplicity about it. The beer selection roams wider than the usual lagers & stouts to include some serious Suffolk ales, while the wholesome & staunchly British food includes the likes of beef suet pudding with mash & onion gravy, with school-dinner puds to follow.
