Outdoor terrace seats are the clear favourites, although the glass structure means you never feel too far from the action. A menu of sustainable seafood includes home-smoked salmon, Dorset oysters & a perpetually popular fish pie. You can also choose your own species, which is grilled or steamed to order & served with sauces of your own picking (spicy salsa or a red-wine fish gravy, say). One doesn’t often think of going to a seafood restaurant for breakfast, but Fish! does early repasts on market days (Thurs-Sat) & brunch on Sunday, featuring grilled Scottish kippers & the nostalgic fish-finger sandwich.
