Square Meal review of Ditto:
New ownership hasn’t truly changed the successful formula of this bustling brasserie at the top of the Wandsworth gyratory system. As before, you enter through the bar with its leather sofas & cocktail tables, perhaps stopping for a drink, before going through to the restaurant proper for nibbly plates of grilled squid with chorizo or Parma ham with roasted fennel, followed by a full range of starters, mains & puds to hold the interest of regulars. Nothing’s too fancy on a modern European menu characterised by the wholesome comforts of Gorgonzola risotto with peas, rocket & lemon oil, seared tuna with roasted red onion, & roasted duck breast with Puy lentils. Wine matches can be pinpointed on a nicely annotated & concise list that divides whites among the headings ‘light & zippy’, ‘aromatic’ & ‘full & oaky’.
