An absolutely fab little bar hidden away in Covent Garden. You can lose yourself in the cavernous interior and the cocktail list. I have actually lost a shoe in here once too. The tables and seating are mostly set into the bricky arches of this underground wine-cellar type space and it's all very dark and intimate. My most recent visit was for a hen do and we had a little area booked out. It's perfect for this kind of gathering and I know others have had birthdays in here with high level of success. It would also be great for dates with its high potential for illicit snogging in corners. I have eaten here before but have to confess I can barely remember it: I could put this down to the length of time which has elapsed since then, but the truth is I wouldn't have been able to remember the next day anyway.
