This vintage outpost of the C&B chain effortlessly conjures a glamorous spell & never fails to be full of dapper financial types. The waterside location is best appreciated in summer, when the terrace, complete with barbecue, has the air of an impromptu garden party. A long, eruditely assembled list pushes wine as the tipple of choice, but there’s also a strong showing of Champagne, too. Soak it up with duck & sweet chilli wraps or organic burgers. Service, as you’d expect from this polished operator, is generally fast, friendly & efficient.
