Lucky 7

Lucky 7 is a little piece of Americana plonked in Notting Hill &, despite its gen-u-wine feel of authenticity, west Londoners rather than expat Americans make up the clientele. Slide in behind a table in one of the six diner-style booths – which you will have to share – & order anything from diner-staples such as pancakes & huevos rancheros for breakfast to lunches & dinners of hamburgers cooked to order & made from 100 per cent organic Aberdeen Angus beef, with an array of toppings such as Monterey Jack cheese, chilli & bacon. Accompany it with a choice of thick- or thin-cut chips, onion rings or guacamole. Puddings are sugary confections along the lines of sundaes & banana splits while the drinks offering is limited to a choice of three beers, Chilean red & white wine & soft drinks – though malts & milkshakes are the top tipple.
