Tucked away under the arches by London Bridge station, The Cooperage is the ideal place to stop off for a swift half after work. Though part of the Davy’s stable with a better-than-usual choice of wines by the glass & bottle, it’s more of a pub than a wine bar, with a good selection of ales, lagers & bitters to go with sarnies & ploughman’s lunches. If you’re in the mood for something more substantial there is a proper restaurant stashed away at the back which offers a competent, if short, menu.
