The exterior doesn’t entice & the interior’s a bit jaded but the exceptional sushi & authentic cooking, coupled with smiley, welcoming staff, continually pull in Japanese Londoners to this dining room, south of St Paul’s. Take in the aromas from the open kitchen before choosing your destination: ground-level sushi bar or the more formal dining room below. Either way you are sure to eat well, though at lunch it’s buzzier than at dinner. The premium sake list can create a buzz at any hour. Note: the entrance is in Knightrider Street.
