Ebullient jockey Frankie Dettori & chef Marco Pierre White aren’t known for their wallflower tendencies, so it’s no surprise that this joint venture (one of a mini-chain) advertises their names above the door in faux lights. Inside, it’s also full-on with glittering, oversized disco balls bouncing their light off the mirrored walls of the basement room – strut across the shiny black floor & you’ll feel like it’s Saturday Night Fever all over again. Despite the razzle-dazzle, the menu keeps its prices in check & cannily sticks to the New York/Italian regulars, from Caesar salad & aubergine parmigiana to perkily cooked rib-eyes & burgers, with baked cheesecake for dessert. Set menus are an even better deal, making this glitzy people-pleaser equally popular for family outings or group bashes.
