Square Meal review of Bistro 51:
We bet at least a few of this restaurant’s diners don’t realise it’s part of a large hotel. The French bistro decor is a bit too manufactured to feel genuine & the menu is a bit too wide-ranging, but the classic dishes are all present & correct. The a la carte runs from minestrone to strudel by way of Caesar & Greek salads, with separate sections for grills & British classics, while the set-price lunch & dinner offer excellent choice & great value. Handy for pre-theatre.
