Location, location, location is the key to the continuing success of this hardy Broadgate Circle perennial, & though radical refurbishment a couple of years back left the interior looking stylish, everyone zooms outside on to the sunny terrace as soon as it’s remotely warm enough. Beers on tap include Peroni, Amstel & Heineken, with bottles of Grolsch, Corona & Budvar; most wines are available by the glass &, Champagnes aside, almost everything – even the Chateauneuf du Pape – is sub-£20. The food menu covers most bases, with everything from light bites, filled pittas & salads to burgers, steaks & sausages to soak up the booze.
