Soho House’s trendy & open-to-all little sister is muted & minimalist, with exposed brick & strips of mirror, & a bustling vibe (it’s more relaxed earlier in the day). The focal point is a large island bar (& consequently some rather good cocktails), which shields diners on the cushion-strewn banquettes at the back from the drinkers out front. The Mediterranean slant to the menu has gone & the food’s now more British & American, with a confusing menu that has conventional course headings (starters: eggs Benedict; mains: shepherd’s pie) alongside other sections such as seafood (oysters, seafood platters), grills, salads, sandwiches & small plates. The wine list is organised by region, with good worldwide coverage.
