Square Meal review of The Blue Bar:
That rare place where the glammed-up Knightsbridge crowd are inspired to take off their Fendi sunglasses, the David Collins-designed Blue Bar is one of the capital’s best-looking drinking holes. Dressed to the nines in shades of soft blue, with a white onyx bar & a black crocodile-print leather floor, it also dispenses some very refined cocktails, a wide range of whiskies & a cracking list of Champagnes & wines. Unsurprisingly, the bar snacks are not your usual spring rolls with dipping sauce – think instead nori-wrapped vegetables marinated in mirin & sweet soy sauce, or queen scallops with wasabi & lime vinaigrette.
