Displaying knife skills that could make even Uma Thurman envious, the hibachi chefs at Benihana slice, dice, chop, toss & sizzle meats & seafood at great speed for groups of eight clustered around teppanyaki (grill-topped) tables. It’s an exciting piece of Japanese food theatre, perfect for kids, weekend parties & those who like to be fed entertainment with their meal. There are some grumbles of high a la carte prices, but set menus, with an appetiser, salad, green tea & dessert thrown in, represent good value.
