Cook your steak just the way you like it on a sizzling hot rock brought to your table at this independent wine bar & cafe, which is sandwiched among the restaurant chains of West India Quay. Prawns, satay chicken & salmon steak are some of the other options that can be cooked using the ‘stonegrill’ technique, otherwise crack in to the excellent seafood menu incorporating fresh market fish, caviar, oysters & teeming shellfish platters. Inside, swathes of turquoise blue, exposed brickwork & high stools scattered over two floors create a smart & contemporary feel, while outside the huge waterside terrace is covered in shady umbrellas & hosts barbecues in the sun. Champagne features prominently on the drinks menu, alongside a small list of well-chosen wines from around the globe & some serious cocktails.
