Tucked into the glazed arcade at Minster Court, this lively Balls Brothers outlet now sports a funky new look complete with wall-sized graphics, buttoned leather & mirrors. Late afternoon brings a half-price happy hour on selections from the wine list, the extended choice of beers & the 62-strong cocktail list, while the restaurant menu now puts the spotlight on crustacea: tempura of Colchester oysters with chilli jam or a half-pint of prawns with lemon & garlic mayonnaise, perhaps.
