Square Meal review of Atrium:
The bar’s flatscreen TVs are invariably tuned to news in this hangout of media types & politicos down the road from the Palace of Westminster, where a lively bustle echoes through the lofty space every lunchtime when Parliament is in session. Abundant daylight from the eponymous atrium makes this a bright spot for daytime meals, but the indoor alfresco feel works less well in the evening, when the office-block setting means it can be very quiet. There’s a competently executed European menu – think perky vine tomato & sorrel gazpacho ahead of classic Caesar salad or a rib-eye steak with pont-neuf potatoes & bearnaise – & there’s plenty of space for private events.
