Square Meal Review of Dindin Kitchen ?

'Fast-casual’ Persian food to eat in or take out is the USP at all-day Dindin Kitchen – a sprightly ethnic eatery on busy Gray’s Inn Road. Pop in for baked eggs or pick up a creamy bircher muesli pot for breakfast; feast on tender, marinated chicken skewers with colourful, fragrant rice and salad for lunch; or grab one of the warm flatbread wraps to take back to work (perhaps falafel with pomegranate and yoghurt). You can also get various rice dishes, pastries, sides and savoury soufflés – try the springy, puffed-up version with chicken, lemon and saffron. The light, white interior, open fridges and takeaway-style containers point to a quick pay-and-go fix, but you can also settle in for a proper sit-down dinner and the venue is soon to have a booze licence. Dindin does free local deliveries too.

    Wrap Your Lips Around This :: Dindin Kitchen

    Dindin kitchen is an all-day eatery on Grays Inn Road, creating its own niche market of Persian food to go. Rather than being a restaurant, it is more of a canteen which I imagine is very popular on a weekday lunch. Think of it as a Middle Eastern Itsu or Leon. Although it’s not really the kind of place you would have a sit-down meal at, there are a few minimalist tables and chairs – all white and highly practical. Against this almost clinical backdrop, the food presents as a gorgeous cornucopia of vibrant colour and charm...

    SamTheFoodFan :: #STFFBitesize - Dindin Kitchen

    Fast-casual Persian cuisine is going to be the next big trend and leading that charge is Dindin Kitchen - or that's my opinion anyway! Founded by Iranian, Vida Tayebi, a former investment banker, the first of what I hope to be many Dindin Kitchens is located near Chancery Lane tube station. There is a lot of competition around with all the usual chains like Eat and Pret within spitting distance - but this Middle Eastern slant is a new and totally exciting concept. Food: My friend and I tried a selection of dishes from each section of the all day menu. Everything we tried was freshly prepared onsite and particular favourites were the savoury chicken soufflés and the stuffed meatballs. The spices were perfectly balanced and no flavour overpowered another. We were told that at the moment Vida spends every day in the kitchen taste testing everything that goes out to make sure the flavours are 100% right. (Vida, I'd be happy to be a taste-tester if you ever get bored of it!)...
