Following its restaurants at HMP Cardiff and High Down in Surrey, the Clink charity is launching a third outlet in the old governor’s house at HMP Brixton. Like its predecessors, the new venue will serve as a training establishment for inmates and an ‘opportunity for rehabilitation’ – all supported by local businesses and members of the public. The restaurant is spread over three floors, with a meetings venue attached: note that online reservations for lunch or breakfast can be obtained by visiting the restaurant’s website. The charity is planning to extend even further, with a plan for 10 outlets by the end of 2017.
