DUE TO OPEN SUMMER 2014
Spanish food importers and tapas specialists Ibérica are building on the success of their eateries in Marylebone and Canary Wharf with the acquisition of a further site near Victoria station. The new branch will broadly follow the original formula, although some new features are promised – including more emphasis on the bar and a Spanish breakfast menu offering homemade churros. Otherwise, tip-top regional ingredients will form the backbone of the menu, from rustic breads, artisan cheeses, charcuterie and peasant-style tapas staples such as croquetas and tortilla to more modish creations courtesy of Michelin-starred executive chef Nacho Manzano. Also expect a top-drawer list of directly imported Spanish wines from boutique growers, and some eye-catching new interiors devised by Barcelona-based designer Lázaro Rosa Violán.
