Early birds, night owls – and everyone else – can sign up to VQ’s concept, with its 24-hour USP, perpetual drinks licence and legendary all-night breakfasts. Like the original in Fulham, this forthcoming outlet on the ground floor of the St. Giles Hotel should offer endless restorative possibilities, whether you fancy popping in for brunch with the kids or turning up at 3am for an early-hours sugar rush (jelly and ice cream, please). In between, expect a please-all international menu dealing in soups, burgers, salads, sharing plates, croque monsieur, macaroni cheese and much, much more. On the drinks front, VQ will offer a sharp wine list bolstered by Champagnes aplenty. The new venue with be less monochromatic than the W6 original, with lots of timber, leather and subtle illumination – including a dramatic, ever-changing ‘light wall’ and a dynamic clock projection.
