Square Meal Review of Rock Lobsta at Mahiki ?

Following the trend for pop-ups going permanent, itinerant chef Carl Clarke has found a proper home at celebrated Mayfair celebrity magnet Mahiki. Located on the first floor above the club, Rock Lobsta follows the same style as his earlier projects such as Disco Bistro – think streetwise food mixed with a good dollop of edgy fun. Cornish native lobsters are the indisputable stars of the show (check out the signature ‘rock lobsta roll’), but the menu also hauls in plenty of other British seafood delicacies – from razor clam ceviche and soft-shell crabs to assorted ‘hot-rock’ or ‘cool-rock’ crustacea served in ceramic pineapples. Otherwise, buttermilk chicken burgers and 40-day aged Dexter rib-eye steaks should satisfy those with carnivorous palates. To drink, expect zany seafood-themed cocktails as well as obscure wines from hip young producers.

And even though I despise Peter Griffin (yes, you can feel extreme dislike for a fictitious character), it still made me giggle...
