A stone’s throw from the Cobb Street original, the second branch of Moo Grill echoes its sibling’s casual decor, with the odd splash of South American colour complementing its full-flavoured take on Argentinian cuisine. Start with moreish humita (sweetcorn and spring onion) or beef empanadas, then try one of the ample lomitos – freshly made sandwiches filled with grilled rump steak, free-range chicken, choripan sausage and suchlike. After that, a perfectly cooked fillet, rib-eye or sirloin should do the trick – diners can choose their size of steak, too, from a modest 200g right up to a 1kg meat feast to share. Finish with a scoop of dulce de leche ice cream or a trio of incredibly sweet alfajorcitos biscuits. Friendly staff keep things ticking over, and the short line-up of bespoke cocktails, G&Ts etc sits well alongside the compact wine list.
