The owners of this international brand (there’s a branch in Copenhagen) are out to make raw vegan food sexy as well as healthy. As the name suggests, nothing is ‘cooked’ above 42o (to ensure minimum loss of nutrients and enzymes), and plenty of thought goes into pretty presentation. On offer are global combos ranging from butternut squash hoummos to raw Thai ‘noodles’ made from carrot and zucchini in a sauce laced with chillis, ginger and coconut oil. Alternatively, order an avocado sandwich with ‘raw bread’ or one of the colourful salads. There’s also plenty for those who want a sweet hit (goji brownies anyone?), while fruit and nut-based ‘energy balls’ are there for those wanting a boost. Drinks are out of the same mould – sugar-free smoothies, ginger shots, coffees with almond milk and so on.
