On the site of a former Spanish eatery, Naga is a smart South-East Asian bar & restaurant that is proving very popular with Kensingtonites. Located down some steps, the main dining room makes the most of the original layout, with a spectacular glass ceiling creating a lovely light-filled space for the lunch crowd. The menu mixes a few Vietnamese staples with familiar dishes from China & beyond, so expect tongue-tingling crispy shredded beef with chilli or aromatic Szechuan duck, alongside ‘crystal rolls’, flash-fried pork with lemongrass, Mongolian lamb cutlets or steamed tofu with crabmeat; also check out the salads, which include a version with lotus root & prawns. A separate room can be hired for private bashes.
