Wilton Way Café

Wilton Way Café packs a lot into a tiny space. It serves some of east London’s best coffee (brewed by Climpson & Sons on Broadway Market); London Fields Radio Station is based here (the DJ booth is right by the Marzocco espresso machine); & it turns out delicious fresh light meals from a wee square of worktop. Expect simple Antipodean-style brekkies & lunches: nothing more complex than smooth, whipped avocado flecked with chilli; roast mushrooms or tomatoes on toast; or Welsh rarebit with buttered leeks. There are also biscuits – Afghans (a Kiwi speciality) & Anzacs – to go with your ‘flattie’ coffee. Seating is limited to a few tables outside & a few more inside.
