Andor Bureau

The subterranean Andor Gallery offers its own programme of exhibitions & events, but there’s plenty to enjoy in the street-level Bureau too – even if it looks a bit spare & sparse. Drop by for breakfast (until 11am), when the kitchen delivers everything from buttery croissants with jam or Marmite on toast to bacon & avocado buns with tomato relish; otherwise, call in later & take your pick from a daytime assortment of colourful, modern salads (couscous with toasted pine nuts & apricots) & various sandwiches (feta & pickled beetroot with parsley, say) – plus the odd global hot dish. Expect communal tables, free Wi-Fi & carafes of water for everyone; plans are afoot to open for dinner (Thurs-Sat only).
