Toulouse Lautrec is an all-family affair, with Hervé Regent (who also owns the adjacent Lobster Pot) playing the role of René Artois alongside three sons & his wife. The show takes place in a ramshackle three-storey building that boasts an open kitchen, tightly clustered brasserie, speakeasy bar & roof terrace, plus a private room buried away in the cellar. With a daily programme of live music & a category-ticking wine list it’s all good fun, & the sequestered location on a windswept Kennington thoroughfare simply adds to the charm.
