Reunion

Part of a £20m refit of the Grosvenor Hotel by the Guoman group, Reunion is a chic & luxurious bar tricked out in cool shades with lots of twinkling glass, gilt mirrors, a chequerboard floor & classy fabrics. Cocktails are the order of the day here, with concoctions including lychee & elderflower Collins, & toffee Champagne (made with Havana Club rum, butterscotch schnapps & caramel), while ‘cocktail safaris’ are also available: your choice of martini & a ‘deluxe’ tipple, with a choice from the bartender thrown in. Hungry drinkers can order a ‘nibbler selection’ of whitebait or croque-monsieur fingers, with heartier dishes including charcuterie slates & sashimi boxes. For drink boffins, various masterclasses on spirits are held throughout the year.
