Pacific Social Club

Billed as a ‘coffee shop/social club/analogue recording library/drop-out centre/mix-tape factory’, Pacific SC is all about atmosphere & leftfield pursuits in a wacky setting of obscure books, vinyl rarities, tiki masks & twee teacups (artfully arranged on an old dresser). Come here for exotic sandwiches (the Venezuelan version introduces chorizo & morcilla to black beans, avocado & cheese), various creamy cakes & coconuts, healthy breakfasts & array of non-alcoholic libations ranging from well-sourced coffees to Nigerian soft drinks or mint & apple smoothies. Above all, there’s always plenty of animated chat to the sound of LPs played through a Pacific Revelator speaker.
