DUE TO OPEN SEPTEMBER 2013
A less suited-&-booted version of the award-winning restaurant, L’Anima Café promises top-notch southern Italian food for those on the go. Operating from the rear of the restaurant, facing Worship Street, the café will serve up ‘pasta & pizza in five minutes’ according to L’Anima’s chef patron Francesco Mazzei, as well as ‘great’ salads, ‘really good Italian olive oil’ & ‘rustic, regional Italian cooking’. Expect Prosecco on tap, Josper-grilled meat, & a daily-changing menu dominated by English produce. Mazzei expects wine to be available to buy & take away from the venue, too, & says it will be open ‘before the Olympics’.
