‘Le Gavroche this isn’t’, warns a zealous convert to the Rodizio Rico all-you-can-eat meat feast. This band of barbecue restaurants is based on the Brazilian ‘churrascaria de rodizio’ experience – where skewers of meat are paraded from table to table & carved to order by ‘passadors’ (carvers or, more prosaically, waiters). It’s a carnivore’s delight & the bloodthirsty punter gets meat, meat & more meat for £23.50 a head in the form of, say, lamb leg, beef picanha or chicken hearts, plus a good go at a buffet of ‘tasty & fresh’ hot & cold Brazilian specialities. Stick with the Brazilian theme on the Latin-biased drinks list (there’s a decent fizz at £35) & make a night of it. Recommended for groups.
