This is my favourite restaurant; i live locally and am a huge fan of Malcolm John, who often graces us with his presence. He is very friendly and attentive to all his customers when he comes in, and we've had some lovely chats with him. Besides his company, the food itself is just fantastic. I am a huge seafood fan, and have sampled dishes all over the world – this restaurant does the best Grilled Lobster i've ever had. My husband loves steak and will always chose a steak-dish and devour it. We often come here with friends as well, and its chilled atmosphere means you can enjoy being around other people but also actually hear what your friends are saying! We usually end up spending about £40 a head, but that is including drinks (always alcoholic ones), meals and often a starter and/or dessert. The crab dish is also one of my favourites.
