Just a hop and a skip from the bright colours and modern design of its counterpart at The Zetter, ZTH is the slightly bonkers antique-chic lounge at the Zetter Townhouse hotel. Done up like ‘the private residence of an eccentric aunt', this cocktail den is a collaboration between The Zetter, chef Bruno Loubet and Tony Conigliaro (cocktail wizard from 69 Colebrooke Row). Service is ‘charming', the interior is ‘stunning' and it's business-friendly too – despite the stuffed animals (including cockatoos and a crinoline-wearing cat). Most people are here for cocktails and a taster of Conigliaro's inventive creations, assembled from antique-recipe cordials, infusions and bitters (try the dandelion Collins or a Somerset sour). ZTH opens for breakfast and serves an all-day menu of posh bar snacks and ‘supper bowls' such as spring vegetable risotto and beef daube.
