The youthful Kensal Rise community has taken to this new café-cum-bistro like ducks to water. Locals feel right at home in a space that resembles a living-room – all rustic, woody furniture, kooky artwork & pastel-blue walls – & know they’re going to be well-fed & watered. Even dogs are welcome. French toast or a full English are popular brunch bites, served up with coffee & newspapers. Later in the day, beer-battered fish & chips with minted pea purée, rabbit stew or braised oxtail with saffron risotto are typical of the homely dishes up for grabs.
