Square Meal Review of The Jam Tree ?

Having created a cosy neighbourhood den with their first venture in Olympia, the brains behind the Jam Tree seem set to preside over a much more lively affair in their new Fulham site. Pitched on a popular stretch of the King’s Road, close to the neighbourhood’s cheesy clubs, it’s bound to attract swarms of fuelled-up weekend drinkers. Inside, the white interior comes with an impressive copper bar & bursts of colour, although the sizeable beer garden should provide much of the summertime entertainment – including BBQs. On the food front, the menu mixes modern British ingredients with some colonial flavours, as in crab samosas with cucumber raita, jerk chicken salad or lamb rendang alongside seared scallops with pea & potato croquettes & wild-garlic cream. Finish with Jam Tree roly-poly.

laymytable :: The Jam Tree – Chelsea

My affair with The Jam Tree started a few years ago now. Lost for a vibrant pub to go to that had a little something extra to offer and an eclectic list of cocktails, I thankfully stumbled upon this gem. I only lived about ten minutes away and now I live about 30 seconds away. Proud to call it my local, it has come up trumps every time. I’ve booked it for my birthday the last two years running and spent many a day and night there. Having noted that they were expanding their already well facilitated bar with a new loft space, I was pleased to attend the launch last week. The Jam Tree not only now boasts the loft space, but also a ground floor area filled with tables for eating and/or drinking and a lounge area to one side. There is also a beautiful beer garden, complete with an outside bar and a huge barbecue. The decking is multi-layered and it’s a great sun trap on a lazy summer afternoon. The food is fantastic and really has excelled over the years. I wasn’t so sure the first time I ate there, but it seems they ironed out a few creases in their cooking and now its truly on a roll...

londonfoodaholic :: REVIEW: The Jam Tree, King

The Jam Tree Chelsea is a neatly packed away gastro pub located on the top end of the king’s road, lingering between Chelsea and Fulham, very near the Chelsea football stadium, far too near if you ask me. For a gastro pub in London beer gardens in SW6 are rarity but the Jam Tree boasts a good sized, sun trapped hangout lingering over the railway, inclusive of outdoor BBQ used to make their well known Friday hog roast (which is amazingly FREE!!), as long as you buy drinks of course...
