Having created a cosy neighbourhood den with their first venture in Olympia, the brains behind the Jam Tree seem set to preside over a much more lively affair in their new Fulham site. Pitched on a popular stretch of the King’s Road, close to the neighbourhood’s cheesy clubs, it’s bound to attract swarms of fuelled-up weekend drinkers. Inside, the white interior comes with an impressive copper bar & bursts of colour, although the sizeable beer garden should provide much of the summertime entertainment – including BBQs. On the food front, the menu mixes modern British ingredients with some colonial flavours, as in crab samosas with cucumber raita, jerk chicken salad or lamb rendang alongside seared scallops with pea & potato croquettes & wild-garlic cream. Finish with Jam Tree roly-poly.
