Food was mostly good, apart from the crab ravioli which was a tiny portion (4 individual ravlioli) for a main course. All other dishes good.
The service was laughable – there was a guy wandering around who I think was the maitre d' – he seemed to be getting in everyone else's way, was verging on rude all night and just a bit useless in terms of trying to actually get anything we wanted. The rest of the staff were very professional but most did not speak English which made communication challenging.

Style over substance

Our visit to Banca was rather impromptu and upon walking into the stylish and elegant establishment, you can't help but eagerly anticipate a good meal. Good though it was, the ignorant service and slightly too steep prices made a real dent into what would otherwise be a great pitstop for shoppers and local hoi polloi alike.

I can't believe Zuma group are involved in this restaurant. It is miles away from any of their other venues. No value for money, arrogant staff and lacking any kind of atmosphere.

I took some clients for a dinner here and every single one of my party were equally as disappointed.
They have obviously spent alot of money on decor but there was no atmosphere what so ever.

For the price you pay here you could find much better places.
The only good thing was the Bellini

Beginning with a warm welcome from the friendly staff and the beautiful interior Banca proved to be a wonderful setting for an early evening aperitif after work. The service was superb, the food scrumptious and the Bellini’s perhaps a little too delicious! Pleasant atmosphere and conveniently located just off Bond Street I would have no hesitation returning to Banca to sample their dinner menu. A wonderful evening all round!

went there for dinner a week or so ago with my fiancé and her mother. having heard mixed reviews i was opened minded and expectations were neither here nor there.
great ambience, excellent food and a great diversity of good wines. the service is also very pleasant.
i definitely will be back again…but without the mother-in-law ;-)

Beautiful food, beautiful people and gorgeous drinks! I stumbled accross Banca after a long day of shopping on Oxford Street as it is conveniently located on North Audley Street. I only had time to have a cheeky drink at the bar but seeing the food floating around was enough for me to know I will be booking in for the full experience asap.

I went to Banca Restaurant for dinner with two of my girlfriends on a Friday night experienced one of the most enjoyable meals of a long time. The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was cooked to perfection and the bar area was buzzing. The standout dishes of the night were the Deep fried Sicilian prawns & calamari served with spicy garlic mayonnaise and the Risotto with chargrilled foie gras & blueberries. I will definitely be returning.

I dined at Banca for lunch with friends and our experience was very enjoyable. The restaurant itself is beautiful in decor not to mention the friendly staff and delicious food.
There is a great choice on the menu and we struggled to choose just one dish each therefore we choose starters to share. The sea scallop carpaccio is amazing, the seared octopus is another strong recommendation along with vitello tonnato and zucchini and carrot fritte which we also thought were excellent.
Our mains were equally as satisfying recommending all that we ate. The seafood linguine, ingredients were so fresh and pasta cooked to perfection, the seared tuna again cooked perfectly medium-rare as recommended by our waiter and also the spaghetti lobster told by my friend was beautiful.
We skipped dessert as it was a relatively short lunch however the petit fours served with our coffee were fantastic.
I shall not disclose how I ended up downstairs however it was a welcomed mistake by myself!! I would strongly recommended a trip downstairs whilst in the restaurant – the kitchens are incredible and very open so you can see the chefs at work. There is also a great private dining room which has a wall of special glass where you can see into the kitchen but from the kitchen I'm told the chefs are unable to see out! I think possibly one of the best private rooms I have seen in the area. I was informed by the staff it can seat up to 20 people, the table was set for 8 people when I visited which was very comfortable for the size of room. Looking forward to eating here again and trying more of the delights on the menu.

As a good fan of Il Baretto, we decided to try Banca Restaurant. What an amazing experience! The food was delightful, the service attentive and friendly and the decor was absolutely great! The perfect destination for Mayfair's crowd and for a great night out!
We went earlier and we decided to have an apertif at the bar. Bellini and lychee martini are the best in town.
For dinner we had a great selection of starters to share (as recommended by the manager) such as seared Octopus, Seabass carpaccio with avocado and vitello tonato.
As a main course we chose Seafood linguine and Risotto with foie gras; they were perfectly cooked! We will certainly be back to try the rest of the dishes that looked amazing.
