During the afternoon, Molly Moggs is a Wi-Fi café/chill-out, good for sarnies, cupcakes & a hair-of-the dog. Come evening, pan-stick old dogs & divas with flammable ‘hair’ are among the attractions at this bijou tavern/cabaret bar. Expect some outrageous banter as sequined-up, flamboyant drag acts such as Bette Rinse (‘the happy hooker from the Isle of Dogs’) harangue the crowd in between Shirley Bassey numbers. It’s all great fun & as friendly as you like, duckie. For the price of a couple of pints of Kronenbourg (£7), a bottle of cheap & cheerful plonk & a bag of crisps with a side of sauce, you can step inside & see what Soho was like circa 1949 – all gaudy & gold like an old-time music hall.
