It’s tricky to find (look for the branch of Snappy Snaps), but once inside, you’ll find a cosy basement hideout, where comfy leather chairs & chesterfields encourage a loungey, home-from-home vibe. If your focus is drinking rather than lounging, make a beeline for the cocktail list – a mix of classic bellinis & suchlike, plus a few house creations (try the honey-laced guilty act or the seasonal winter warmer); otherwise, bottled beers, wines & reasonably priced spirits attract casual drop-ins. The venue also sports two 10-seater nooks, which can be booked for bring-your-own movie evenings (squishy scatter cushions & TV/DVD player provided).
