A bite-sized eatery right opposite Liverpool Street station, Now plies its trade as a dim-sum refuelling stop for peckish commuters. Seating is at a premium amid the bright, funky decor – there are only 10 wooden stools & a small counter – but this is an express pit stop, not a venue for languorous lunches. A dozen sorts of dim sum are available, including chicken sui mai, prawn balls, duck rolls & char sui buns, with the option of creating a calorie-counted, mix & match basket containing six favourites. Alternatively, if something more sustaining is required, a plate of seafood sticky rice or a chicken & coconut rice pot is the way to go. There are plenty of quick nibbles, too.
