The library-like Martini Room sees bartenders shake or stir from a martini cabinet; floor-to-ceiling drapes hug wraparound leather banquettes in the Champagne salon; the cocktail lounge is dominated by a chic green-glass bar, & the canteen-style open kitchen is decked out with silver pots, pans & utensils. The menu balances mass-appeal wood-fired pizzas & Caesar salads with more adventurous confit pork belly with ceps, while the knickerbocker glory is a must-try dessert. In all, it’s an affordable package that has struck a chord with the local chic set & informal business types – although service can be a little too attentive.
