A dream ticket for kids & a party venue par excellence, ASK has helped to give pizza/pasta chains a good name with its prime locations, easy-going professionalism & dependable food. The long menu doesn’t hold many surprises, although it’s worth looking out for ‘new recipes’ & specials. Kick off with mixed antipasti or a capra grill (melted goats’ cheese on ciabatta with caramelised onions & beef tomatoes) before rigatoni with meatballs, linguine with king prawns & rocket or a seafood risotto. Pizzas & calzones are family favourites, & indulgent desserts such as banoffi pie or chocolate nemesis push all the right sugar-rush buttons. Peroni beer (served in chilled glasses) goes down well, likewise Prosecco & wines from around the world.
